Jason leads the Executive Team of United Cities North America ("UCNA"). UCNA supports the United Nations in its commitments to accelerate the adoption of the United Nations 17 Sustainable Development Goals. His long term, high-level executive relationships stem form over two decades of C-Level experience in both the sports and financial services industries. Leadership roles at JP Morgan, AIG, Morgan Stanley, Michael Jordan’s Organizations, Major League Soccer, the Oakland A’s, and Octagon Football Sports Agency led to the creation of Gameplan Impact (a sports / media / entertainment company) and Safeguard Financial. Jason attended the University of California Santa Barbara for Sports Management and received his B.S. from San Francisco State University in Business Administration.
Michael Rensing, PhD

Throughout his career, Dr. Rensing has been instrumental in developing and implementing successful low-carbon fuel policies and legislation. As the Director of the Low Carbon Fuels Branch in the Electricity and Alternative Energy Division at the British Columbia Ministry of Energy, Mines, and Low Carbon Innovation, Dr. Rensing led the province's Low Carbon Fuel Standard (LCFS) Program. This program has been responsible for approximately 30% of the emission reductions achieved by the province of British Columbia, making it one of the most successful low-carbon fuels program in North America.
Dr. Rensing holds a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Victoria and has devoted over 20 years to public service in British Columbia. He began his career in the Air Protection Section of the Ministry of Environment before moving to the Ministry of Energy and Mines in 2007.
Will started his high-tech career at NEC Corporation (6701: Tokyo) Headquarters in Tokyo, involved in the international corporate planning of NEC’s global market expansion. From there, he became an Early-Stage Technology Venture Capitalist as a Board Director at over 75 early-stage technology companies over the next 28 years, and was a Co-founder/Managing Director to 5 Early-Stage Venture Capital Funds and 2 Venture Debt Funds. Will has extensive global operating and investment experience, serving as a Venture Partner at Rogers Venture Partners, Toronto, Canada and CSV Capital Partners, Shanghai, China. He has invested more than $5B in tech investments. He is an early investor in Xpansiv, and serves as its Executive Chairman.
